Every Sunday is a celebration of the risen Christ. Through prayer, we invite Him into our lives. Through the sacraments, we receive His love and forgiveness. Through music, we rejoice in His promise of everlasting life.
Worship has many forms at First Lutheran: The preaching of the Word and celebration of Holy Communion. Christian Fellowship. Children's sermons. People joined together in prayer. The inspirational and beautiful music offered by our organist and choir. The funeral of a loved one. A silent moment in Christ Chapel.
First Lutheran worships every Sunday at 8:00 and 9:00 am. Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of the month and on festival Sundays. To encourage attendance of parents with infants and toddlers, our nursery is staffed during the 9:00 am Sunday worship service. An elevator is available for seniors and the handicapped.
