	Camp Calumet Camp Calumet is the official camp and retreat center for the New England Synod. Every year, young people and adults from First Lutheran participate in retreats and camping experiences that highlight God's loving care for all of creation.

	New England Synod The local expression of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is the New England Synod. With offices in Worcester, Massachusetts, the Synod provides resources and support for the Lutheran congregations of the northeast.
	Lutheran Social Services of New England Lutheran Social Services of New England provides a wide range of services to people of all ages. In Brockton, Ruth House is a place of refuge for young mothers and their children. Emmanuel House offers assisted living for the elderly. First Lutheran's own Fruth Center provides office space for a number of social service agencies and community groups.
	Community Connections of Brockton Community Connections of Brockton (CCB) seeks to actively partner with parents, residents, community groups, service agencies, businesses and others who want to strengthen Brockton's families, neighborhoods and community. CCB strives to achieve success by: coordinating resources already in communities; bringing out the voices of residents in planning for local resources; and ensuring that services meet the needs of families and communities.
